FAQ
A valid drivers license is required. If driving a 50cc vespa a car drivers licence is sufficient, for a 125cc vespa a motorcycle licence is required. Minimum 18 years of age for a driver. To participate on our scooter tour prior experience is advantageous and highly recommended. Please be aware that we are not a scooter learning driving school. We reserve the right to deny any participant taking part or continuing the scooter tour if we feel the participant is unable to operate the scooter safely. Our decision is final. No refunds are offered.
If at any point a participant cannot operate their scooter safely, One can ride as a passenger with their partner or with the guide (if available). No Refunds for difference in price is offered. An expired driver license will not be accepted and will be considered as a no show. Full payment will be incurred in this case. Please bring your drivers license with you.
We can arrange pick up with prior notice, but can not guarantee it. In case you wish or need to be picked up you should write to our email info@rollingistra.com
The minimum age to sign up for our vespa tour is 18 years for a driver. Minimum age to join our vespa tour as a passenger is 15 years old. For younger passengers you can contact us to see if we can accommodate you. We do not recommend expecting mothers to join out tour.
We can accommodate vegetarians and vegans, but please let us know in advance.
If special care is needed as regards to food i.e. (diabetics/allergies) please let us know in advance and we will try our best to accommodate you.
Yes, you can, but you need to let us know in advance and we will try our best to accommodate you.
You should wear comfortable clothing with extra layers in case it gets a little cold. You should also bring sunscreen and sun glasses. We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle. If not we do provide plastic water bottles.
In case of light rain we will go on with the tour and you should have suitable rain gear with you. If we feel that the weather conditions are too severe to run the tour we will cancel it and offer you refund or change of date, if possible. Please note that 3.2% plus €0.39 per ticket will be withheld as it is a non refundable transaction fee charged by at the time of booking.
Yes, there is an option to purchase local products along the way.
